LEAGUES FOR BOYS & GIRLS
OUR OWN STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITY
JUNIOR WARRIORS LEAGUE
HEALTHY COMPETITION & PHYSICAL GROWTH
Mike Allen Sports partners with the Golden State Warriors as a part of the Junior Warriors and Jr. NBA / WNBA. Mike Allen Sports Basketball is excited to offer this program, and is looking forward to working with your son / daughter in our Junior Warriors Basketball league. Our goal is to provide an enjoyable experience that will plant a seed in your child’s life.
We believe that a sports environment can help children experience healthy competition and physical growth. Each coach is screened and trained to help improve skill as well as character-development. Our goal is to help players compete in a competitive environment while understanding how to build character whether winning or losing but also having a passion and love for the game. With our partnership with the Golden State Warriors we are excited about the opportunity to give each participant along with their parents and siblings, a professional, relational and organized program that truly develops players. ALL activities include top Elite level basketball training and a motivational quote of the week from professional athletes, coaches, and leaders in our world.
JUNIOR WARRIORS COMPETITIVE LEAGUE
Our Competitive Leagues have Boy’s & Girls divisions for ages 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15-18. Practices/ Games are on the same day with a high intensity practice where all players will go through several skill development stations to build their overall Basketball IQ included with strength and conditioning. Practices are 40 minutes and Games will follow as players will play 2-3 (15 min running clock games). Score & Stats are recorded as well as players will foul out if they reach the max of 6 fouls during the contest.
It is a 8-week season concluding with our Single Elimination Tournament at the end of the season.
The commitment to the team & training is an important ingredient for every players development in our Competitive League therefore we ask that each player/parent understand that players earn playing time based on their handwork and commitment to the team & training. Although all players will play adequate playing time it is important for players to be taught what competitive basketball is like playing on school & AAU travel teams.
